Hayden Christensen is a cave-aged Gouda, smooth and slow to reveal its harder, crystalline core. He often plays characters holding a secret, and the performance lives in the contained intensity. Start with Shattered Glass. Stephen Glass is a journalist building a career on lies, and Christensen lets you see the brittle ambition under the surface. In Life as a House, he plays a teenager struggling with his father's illness, and the anger feels earned, a protective layer. As Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, he showed the conflict of a powerful young man caught between duty and desire. Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith pushed that further, letting the slow turn to darkness play out in a tightly controlled way. Obi-Wan Kenobi revisited the character from a place of settled gravity. Christensen holds a lot in reserve, and that is precisely the point of this slow-burn cheese.
