Ella Bright

About

Ella Bright is a fresh curd, still soft and new to the board, but already showing a surprising amount of flavour and a firm confidence in her own craft. She arrived in Legends, a first taste of a clear presence. Malory Towers is where she truly opened up the wheel, playing Darrell Rivers with a youthful energy that carried the heart of the series. There is a clean, bright quality to her early work that lets a scene breathe. In The Crown, she played a young Kate Middleton, a performance that required restraint and observation, and Bright allowed the future queen's composure to show. Off Campus gave her a chance to explore a character with more bite. She is still maturing, and that is what makes her work so interesting to watch.
